Bournemouth Open Bowls 2022 is starting today!
There are matches every day this week at Boscombe Cliff Bowling Club starting at 6pm. today and culminating with the Finals on Saturday, the 6th, from 9am. so there will be plenty of great matches alongside the bar and cafe!

6.8.22 - the final day of this Tournament that brought so many great bowlers from all over the UK came round so quickly.
Shaun Jones beat Perry Martin in a very exciting and tight match, Tom Bishop and Donna Knight’s stand-in, Norma Beatles won the Mixed Pairs, Wayne Willgress and John Tufts beat Jordan Moody and Nick Revell, and Tom Warner, Shaun Jones and Scott Edwards beat the local trio from Knyveton, Richard Handyside, Reg Davis and Jim Flexman.
Dennyside Bowling Team - Monday, 11th July
There is a friendly match against Dennyside Bowling Association on Monday, 11th July, starting at 2pm.

PRESIDENT’S DAY - Sunday, 17th July, from 2.00pm.
A fun bowls tournament, raffle, stalls and barbecue.
Monday Morning Triples
There are Morning Morning triples most Mondays mornings.
If you would like to join in be at the Club by 9.45am. and you will be included in a team. This is suitable for all standards of play so whether you are fairly new to the game or more experienced come along and join in the fun, get to know more people and gain experience!
QUIZ NIGHT!
Our June Quiz, and Fish and Chips supper, is on Friday, 10th June, starting at 7pm.
Our July Quiz, with fish and chip supper, is on Friday, 15th July, starting at 7pm. We look forward to seeing you at the Club for another good evening!

Instead of a fine day it rained most of the day, but a steady stream of people came along to have a go, and all seemed to enjoy their games as it hard to get them off the green!
Jubilee Celebration! - Friday 3rd June
Our Jubilee Celebration will be in the afternoon of
Friday, 3rd June, when the Land Girls will be entertaining us. There will be games, and a 50’s tea. Tickets £5.

Quiz - 13th May 2022
Our next social event at the Club is a Quiz and fish and chips supper on Friday, 13th May, starting at 7pm. The quiz will cost £2, and run by Barry Coates, and supper will be cost of your food.
The May Quiz was won by the Terrible Wallbangers with the Cliffhangers bringing up the rear. Thank you Barry and Jenny for an excellent evening.
Honeypot House - 27th April 2022
A tour round the Honeypot House in Exbury, New Forest, (the President’s charity this year) on Wednesday, 27th April, starting at 10am. there. Following the tour we will be going to Exbury Gardens, famous for its azaleas, for brunch/lunch and a tour round, weather permitting. We will meet those of you who don’t want to go to Honeypot at the gardens at about 12 noon.
