We are open!
The Green opened on Good Friday in beautiful sunshine. The Green was in such good condition thanks to all the work by our Green Ranger, Charlie Munden, and his team. However due to the wet weather earlier in the week it was still tender and we used the protective mats.
We now look forward to more sunshine and another good season playing.

Wrenn Rose Bowl 3.7.22
After a morning of round-robin games last year’s winner, Phil Whyte, played against Terry Harvey and last year’s runner up, John Coxon, played against Jan Glasspool in the semi final, resulting in a repeat of last year’s final, with John Coxon the winner.
Well done ladies!
Boscombe Cliff ladies beat Argyll ladies on all 4 rinks this afternoon 87-36 overall in the sunshine at home.
Next round will be against Bournemouth or Fordingbridge.
Mens County Competition - Senior Fours
The first area final is at Boscombe Cliff BC Monday 13th June 6pm . The club is guaranteed a winner with this one! The winning four, Chris Daniels, Tim Orr, Charlie Munden and Bob Kelly, go through to the county semi final stage.
Friendly match v The Timber Trundlers
Our old friends, the Timber Trundlers, played an enjoyable game against us in the sunshine, with Boscombe Cliff winning on all 4 rinks.
Our Jubilee party,
70 members and friends enjoyed an afternoon of fun, both on the green and in the clubhouse, with great entertainment from the talented Land Girls, followed by a traditional tea.

Jenny and Barry held their Sunday School this morning, coaching a few prospective members.
Our 2nd Friendly Match this season against Hazell Bowls Club starting at 2pm.

Instead of a fine day it rained most of the day, but a steady stream of people came along to have a go, and all seemed to enjoy their games as it hard to get them off the green!
Ladies first outing
The ladies 1st outing of the season was to Argyll on Thursday, 21st April, when we were just beaten by 2 shots in an exciting match, played in sunshine in a very friendly atmosphere.
